Adansonia PE Opportunities VCC (“APEO VCC” or the “Fund”) is an African opportunities permanent capital structure founded in 2016. The founders of APEO VCC sit on the boards and investment committees of international Private Equity funds and holding companies operating mainly in Africa and across diverse sectors and geographies. Through their day-to-day involvement on the boards of these companies and funds, the founders are exposed to Private Equity investment opportunities, which they pursue in a structured fashion via the Fund. APEO VCC seeks to invest in businesses well-positioned to benefit from the fast adoption of mobile technologies, and the growth in demand for fast moving consumable goods products by rapidly urbanising populations.
An Investment Advisory Committee assists Adansonia Fund Manager Private Limited and APEO VCC’s Board in its decisions relating to APEO VCC’s investment and divestment, in line with the APEO VCC’s investment objective, policies and restrictions as set out within its Information Memorandum.
